The DC offers studio space rentals for various reasons including auditions, master classes, video shoots, long-term rehearsals, and more! Learn more about renting with us below.

Important Notes about Renting

We require ALL patrons to have a MindBody account with The Dance Complex. Whether you are the person renting the space or coming in for the rehearsal, you will need to create an account. You can do so HERE.

 Some of our studios have shoe restrictions: Studio 2 does not allow percussive shoes and in Studio 3, we only allow ballet or pointe shoes to be worn in the space.

Our rates for rehearsal rentals can be viewed below. Our prices vary based on weekday/weekends and daytime (before 6:00p)/evening (after 6:00p) as well as studio size and reason for rental.

Rental Rates for Photo/Video Shoots

Select studios are available to rent for professional photo/video shoots. Professional lighting is available for use in Studios 1 and 7, but please note, we require you to have a lighting designer to access these features. We do NOT qualify self-tapes or recordings on personal devices as a videoshoot and these instances may qualify as a Rehearsal Rental.

We require a minimum reservation time of 2 hours ($85 per hour, totaling $160). Every hour acculumated thereafter is $80.

Rental Rates for Events

Select studios are available to rent for events which may include post-performance gatherings, gallery showings, and other community events. These rates only reflect the cost to rent the space and does not include any other costs. 

Rental Rates for Auditions

Select studios are avaible to rent for auditions. Please note, we only rent to auditions that do NOT charge audition fees to participants. Rates vary from $20-50 an hour depending on size of studio, time, and day.

Rental Rates for Long Term Rehearsals (3 months & over)

Rehearsal contracts are available to companies and choreographers for weekly dance rehearsals for a period of 3 months or longer. Times available are Monday- Friday 9:00am-6:00pm only.  Due to high demand for space we do not provide rehearsal contracts for weekday evenings or weekends. Rates vary from $15-$20 per hour depending on the size of studio and day and time.

Rental Rates for Performances

The DC currently considers all performance rentals as a part of our DC Series Event, the DIY Performance Series. To learn more about this series, click HERE. Applications for the DIY Performance Series are accepted on a rolling basis until all available weekends are full. Specific circumstances may qualify your performance outside of this series.
