Rent our Space for your next Rehearsal!
The DC qualifies a “rehearsal rental” as a reservation by a choreographer, company, student group, and/or individual where participants do not compensate the leader/instructor in any form. We have 7 studio spaces (6 available for rent) of various size and costs, ranging from $13-25.50 per hour. Important Notes about Renting
We require ALL patrons to have a MindBody account with The Dance Complex. Whether you are the person renting the space or coming in for the rehearsal, you will need to create an account. You can do so HERE
All studio reservations are approved manually by our staff and processed for payment 24 hours in advanced. If you would like to cancel your rehearsal after the 24 hour window has closed, we are unable to issue a refund or credit to your account. Additionally, if space is requested on the same day as the desired rehearsal, payment will be charged immediately and no refund will be available.
Some of our studios have shoe restrictions: Studio 2 does not allow percussive shoes (ex. tap or flamenco shoes) and in Studio 3, we only allow ballet or pointe shoes to be worn in the space.
Our rates for rehearsal rentals can be viewed below. Our prices vary based on weekday/weekends and daytime (before 6:00p)/evening (after 6:00p):

*As of September 1, 2022, The DC has increased studio rates by $1 per hour. In addition to this increase, we will now be processing rehearsals 24 hours in advance.*
The MINDBODY platforms allows renters to:
- See the studio schedules and pick the studio and time that suits
- Request space from anywhere at anytime
- Request studio space up to 30 days in advance
- Conveniently pay for your space with your credit card
- Receive email reminders and notifications about upcoming rehearsals
Please be aware rehearsal requests are not automatically approved by the system; your request is not confirmation of a studio space
Required Materials to Reserve Space:
1. A valid credit card must be on file via your Mindbody account. This can be added at any time through your Mindbody profile.
2. The notes section of all space requests must be completed for our staff to approve your request with the following information:
–Are you using a live accompanist? Provide the number of musicians and instrument type if applicable.
-Type of dance
-Type of shoes to be worn in the studio
-Total number and names of all participants you’re expecting in the space. We ask for their full names due to safety purposes.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in denied or cancelled reservations.
How to Rent Space:
1. Create a MindBody account with The Dance Complex HERE. Please be sure to add a credit card on file as this is how we will process payment for your reservation. All rehearsals will be charged 24 hours in advance.
2. After logging into your MindBody account, select “Schedule for Rehearsals” at the top of your page. Once selected, a calendar showing the current day’s schedule will pop up. Our system allows you to book up to 30 days in advanced and can be accessed by using the day/week/calendar viewing tabs towards the top right of the page.
3. Once you have found the day you would like to rent space, select “Daytime/Evening/Weekend Studio Rentals” within the cololmn of the studio you would like to rent. Some of our studios have shoe restrictions which includes Studio 2 (no percussive shoes) and Studio 3 (ballet slippers/pointe shoes only).
4. After selecting your desired time, a new window will appear titled “Select Appointment Request Details.” Here you can review the studio space you wish to reserve as well as adjust the length of your studio rental and start time. In the bottom box, be sure to answer the provided questions. We will not be able to approve your request without the responses to the following questions:
Are you using a live accompanist? Provided the number of musicians and instrument type if applicable.
Type of dance
Type of shoes to be worn in the studio
Total number and names of all participants you’re expecting in the space. We ask for their names due to safety purposes.
5. Submit your request and wait for confirmation! Our team approves requests periodically throughout the day.
