The VLA DANCE improvisation class will build our contemporary dance class principles of rhythm, spirals and weight shifting while encouraging the class takers to explore their own individuality. While this is an open level class, expect to challenge your default and build intensity. |

Victoria Lynn Awkward is the Director of VLA DANCE, a professional dance company based in Greater Boston. The company presents shows, classes, and engagement through the lens of BIPOC and queer artistry. Victoria has trained in modern forms like Horton, Ballet, and contemporary techniques such as flying low, counter technique and release technique. The VLA technique has been honed over the last 4 years. Victoria continually deepens her teaching practice and technique through Midday Movement Seréis mentorship programming. |
