This course enables students to enhance their knowledge of Flamenco dance and music., focusing on the study and practice of its rhythms, technique, zapateado (footwork), Tecnica corporal (body technique) giros (turns) palmas (claps) body percussion, and improvisation. By exploring the different styles (palos) and rhythms of traditional Flamenco, students will build a strong, thorough foundation of Flamenco as an art form.
Cost: $35-150 for 1-5 classes.

Flamenco is an art form that comes from the south of Spain (Andalucia) with a very rich mix of cultures and based on traditional Spanish Folklore.
