What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?

Pilates is an exercise system that was developed by Joseph Pilates in Mönchengladbach, Germany in the early 1920’s. It was designed to unify the mind and body, promoting controlled movement and rehabilitation. By combining breath, movement, and proper body mechanics, Pilates enhances both physical and mental awareness of how the body moves and feels.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

Britney is a seasoned instructor with over a decade of teaching experience. Her deep knowledge of Pilates comes from years of dedicated study and practice. Drawing from both classical and contemporary Pilates techniques, Britney offers a comprehensive, full-body movement practice every time you step onto the mat.
