Flamenco is an art form based on various folkloric music traditions of Southern Spain.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

With a BFA in Dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music, I formed my Flamenco career in Boston with Ramon de los Reyes, continued and formed my schools and companies (Clara Ramona Danza Flamenca in Madrid, Spain, for 15 years, 8 years in Manila, Philippines, and 15 years in Hong Kong to present. Full length choreographies and major productions in  Flamenco, Clasico Español and fusion Spanish dance styles have been the focus of my career, touring Asia, Europe, South America and the United States extensively.

I am passionate about teaching this style as Flamenco has been the subject of my  dance career for over 50 years. As a choreographer, performer, director and teacher, giving workshops internationally has been the best form of spreading and sharing my love and experience for the art form.
