Samba is a uniquely Brazilian genre. Its roots as a dance and rhythm come from West Africa but in Brazil these mixed with European instruments and over time samba has been influenced by many musical genres, including jazz, hip-hop and rock.
With over two decades of experience and dedication, Mayombe transforms the art of dance into a journey of self-discovery and connection with cultural roots. His teaching method goes beyond technique.
