What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?
I am working with dancers to improve their abilities within the turned out mode while respecting and honoring the roundedness of modern dance.
What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?
I have been dancing teaching and choreographing for more than 60 years. My original training is in graham technique, and ballet with Maggie black. I have developed a somatic practice based on years of work with Kathy grant and Lisa Pari. My class is a contemporary take on ballet with a modern sensibility.
