What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?

Street Jazz is a commercial-dance style commonly seen in a variety of mainstream entertainment and media settings including music videos, concerts, tours, and movies by your favorite pop artists. We’ll dive into various street styles, from Hip-Hop to Funk and beyond, blending them with the sharp lines and precision found in Jazz.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

Patrick is a choreographer, educator, and performer with credits spanning stage, film, and sports arenas. His credits include Sony Music, Red Bull, Epic Records, Law & Order, Britney Spears, TEDx, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (2022), AMF, and more. He has served as university faculty at The Boston Conservatory, Pennsylvania State University, and Endicott College. More locally, Patrick debuted as the first male NBA Celtics Dancer in 2022, has collaborated with the NFL Patriots Cheerleaders at Gillette Stadium, has choreographed for local artists, and worked with sports entertainment dance teams. Patrick is a Certified Dance Coach with the Universal Dance Association (UDA).
