About:
Junior Cius is an international dancer and choreographer residing in Cambridge MA. He has been dancing since the age of 16, but his formal training began shortly after graduating high school in 2010. He began teaching in Boston in 2014 and has since traveled and taught throughout the states and abroad. With a background in street dance: Hip-Hop, Popping, Breaking and DanceHall, combined with his experience in commercial and contemporary movement, Junior Cius has developed his own unique style.
I am passionate about teaching this style because…It is freeing and empowering.

What can students expect from this class? This class is open to all levels. Class will begin with a warmup consisting of groove focused follow-alongs, drills and stretching. Once we’re fully warm, we will begin learning a street dance combinations. Our focus is to develop an understanding of timing, texture, muscality, footwork, weight shifts, spatial awareness, presence and performance. |
