DESCRIPTION:This class introduces children to creative movement and very basic ballet positions and terminology. We begin sitting in a circle\, doing a series of stretches accompanied by music and visual imagery. Slowly we stand and work on ballet positions and moving across the floor. \nGirls’ Dress Code: Solid-Color Leotard\, Ballet Pink or Skin Tone Footed Tights\, Pink or Skin Tone Ballet Slippers. Hair must be neatly secured away from the face and neck. \nBoys’ Dress Code: White T-Shirt\, Black Tights or Leggings\, Black Ballet Slippers. Hair must be neatly secured away from the face and neck. \nREGISTER HERE\nAge 4 by 09/01/25 \n\nWhat background\, training\, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?\nThe School of Classical Ballet was founded in 1985 by Anna Myer and Patricia Adelmann. For over 30 years\, the school has provided students with classical ballet training and helped to develop student appreciation for dance as an art form. We currently offer classes in ballet and contemporary. Director Kirsta Sendziak\, faculty\, and staff continue to provide students the quality of instruction upon which the school was founded. \nThe School of Classical Ballet is a technique-based school with emphasis on learning.
