The ‘sassy’ style specifically draws from the confident\, expressive item numbers and glam sequences that became iconic in Bollywood cinema from the 1990s onward — think bold attitude\, sharp facial expressions\, and playful power. It’s since become a global phenomenon\, celebrated for how it fuses cultural storytelling with high-energy\, unapologetic self-expression. \nWhat background\, training\, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?\n\n\n\n\nI’ve been teaching Bollywood dance for over 15 years\, with formal training in Kathak\, contemporary\, and jazz that shapes how I approach movement and musicality. That blend gives me a unique lens on Bollywood — I draw on Kathak’s precision and expressive footwork\, contemporary’s fluidity\, and jazz’s sharp\, dynamic energy to build choreography that feels both grounded and fresh.
