As Mom’s parenting solo, it is easy to find ourselves giving so much to others, while leaving very little if anything for ourselves. Yet in order to show up 100% for the people who need us most, it is vital that we learn to show up 100% for ourselves first. Through sacred breath, sacred listening and sacred movement; Mom’s will get to engage in an experience that allows them to retreat; back to the love that is within them; assisting them to rediscover their souls desires in an environment where they feel safe & supported. Students will leave feeling satisfied, energized & empowered!

The SoulAum Mom’s Flow : Sacred Space Soul-Care Workshop focuses on free form movement. The foundation for movement during this workshop is Pan-African Dance; fused with, Jazz and Modern Dance. Mapouka, a sacred African Dance meant to empower the womb space, will be a strong influence.

My love for dance began as a young child in the city of Boston, By the time I was in high school I had developed a passion for African Dance, studying under Master Teacher Kariamu Welsh and later joining her company, Kariamu & Company: Traditions, in my college years. I’d graduate from the University of the Arts, having studied under Milton Myers, Fay Snow and Pat Thomas; to name a few, Masters in Modern Dance; As well as Wayne Saint-David and Peter Bertini in Jazz Dance; graduating with my BFA in Dance Education in 2003. I’m currently teaching Dance as Medicine to a growing online community while teaching Dance Education to children in the city of Boston, MA.
