Shiamak Advanced Training Batch

  • What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching? 
It’s called shiamak style. It’s been patented as a style by Shiamak Davar, a famous Indian choreographer. This style is a blend of ballet, contemporary, modern and Indian classical and fold dance forms.
  • What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject? 
I trained under Mr shiamak Davar himself for a year to perfect this style. I completed my one year intensive dance program and have trained in jazz and contemporary for years.
  • What can students expect from this workshop?
Focus on techniques, ballet basics and application of those techniques in choreography.

I have always loved this style and the way it blends both western and Indian dance forms together into something unique yet so challenging.
