Heels classes are relatively new having only been around for about the last 20 years. They started in LA as a means to train dancers who were interested in pursuing professional careers in the commercial dance industry. Often times when women go on auditions and book jobs we are required to dance in heels. Heels classes started as a means to teach women how to walk, perfect lines and learn the proper technique for dancing and performing in heels.

Olivia Cipolla is a Dancer, Choreographer, Singer, Songwriter, and Actor. She has worked with the biggest names in entertainment today including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull, Pharrell Williams, 50 Cent, Romeo Santos and many more. Olivia’s television appearances include major music events in recent years, as well as music videos with artists including Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Fall Out Boy, Don Omar, Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé, including as assistant choreographer for the Beyoncé hit, Dance for You.
