| What can students expect from this class?
Structure: Welcoming circle (introduce yourself and a fun fact if you want to), an opening practice that gets the body warmed up (all levels), roughly 60-75 minute DJ’ed dance set, and then a closing practice that usually slows things down for a calm meditative and comforting state (like a sound healing or kirtan) |

| What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?
Ecstatic Dance is all around the globe and focuses on free-form movement within a safe space where people can dance and be themselves. No right or wrong moves. Generally a family-friendly environment where you can dance, sit, meditate, and be in the present moment. |
