Boston Bhangra Class

What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?

Bhangra is a folk dance that originated from the Punjab region of India almost 100 years ago. It is a dance that celebrates the successful harvest. Thus, it is very joyous and is very cardio driven.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

Boston Bhangra has been teaching this form of dance for well over 20 years! We have competed internationally and won many competitions. Our instructor has been learning and performing for well over 10 years as well!

What can students expect from this class?

The class is a fun, high energy class where you’ll get a great workout and learn a great folk dance! You don’t have to have any previous experience, just a thirst for learning something new and having fun! You will sweat…so just be ready. 🙂
