  • What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching? 
Boston Bollywood celebrates the majestic entertainment powerhouse: Bollywood, the Indian film industry. It is a tribute to all the artists whose combined talent and perseverance makes Bollywood the huge production house it is today. ​​By drawing inspiration from their work, the aim of Boston Bollywood is to delight our dancers with dance forms rooted in classical and folk styles and transport them to the magical land of India.
  • What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject? 
This class will be taught by multiple guest choreographers who have choreographed various stage acts/ taught multiple workshops for Boston Bollywood over the past 5 years.
  • What can students expect from this workshop?
Class structure:
5 minutes: Check-in
5-10 minutes: Warm-up
60 minutes: Learn choreography with a focus on common moves used in Bollywood dancing
5-10 minutes: Record videos
5-10 minutes: Cool down (If time permits)
