What is the legacy of the genre/form/style you are teaching?

Astou was in the national group of Sengal where she was contracted to travel and perform in different venues around the world. She was inspired to bring it over to the U.S. to teach others her passion and art form.

What background, training, and or relationship do you have with this style/technique/class subject?

Astou started dancing at age 12. In between her busy lifestyle of working, she would find time to rehearse and train as much as she could.

Finish this statement: I am passionate about teaching this style because…

…the sequencing of movement and steps make sense in my body to allow me to teach passionately to others.

How can students learn more?

They should come experience it!
