The Dance Complex, in partnership with Monkeyhouse, present the return of a MAKE iT / SHARE iT / SHOW iT (aMaSSiT) Lab with its 2024 iteration of Pitch Session Showings on May 4, 2024 at 8:00pm and May 5, 2024 at 7:00pm.

The DC is proud to announce our largest aMaSSiT cohort to date! Each evening’s unique program will feature work from aMaSSiT program participants. May 4th’s program will include presentations from Priya Bangal, Becky Bearse, Sapna Govindan, DeVante Love, Eva Marder, Liana C. Percoco, and Lilly Reyes. May 5th’s program features Calai Chandra, LaPorsha Dees, Madison Florence, Yarumi González, Ava Grebe, Destiny Kluck, and Shirin Kuppusamy,.

aMaSSiT is a program developed at The Dance Complex over the last 8 years, and continues to adapt to the needs of dance and other creative makers. Over the last 3 years, The Dance Complex has partnered with Monkeyhouse Co-Artistic Director karen Krolak to bring a refreshed approach to aMaSSiT’s focus each year. karen, along with The Dance Complex’s Executive Artistic Director, Peter DiMuro design elements of the program, each year aiming to gather tools for artists as they build momentum to transform an idea into a project. 

The aMaSSiT experience pulls from creative processes from multiple fields, reaching beyond the arts world to involve guests who in their own ways brought shifts of thought, and change to their daily lives, work, and practice.
