May 2008 is the 15th Anniversary of the DanceMonth celebrations! The enitre month of May is DanceMonth in Cambridge. DanceMonth is a citywide celebration of the movement arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Neither a festival nor a showcase, it is a way to focus on the richness of dance that is already an intrinsic part of our lives. Now in its 15th year, DanceMonth is still DanceMonth, only more....

Lindy Hop Leaders' Workshop - Boys Camp

Sunday, May 11th, 1:00-5:00pm

BOYS' CAMP - Lindy Hop Leaders' Workshop. Get the 5-1-1. Sunday, 5/11, 1:00-5:00pm. This workshop is designed for lindy hop leads who want to progress from Intermediate or Advanced to Chick Magnet. Instructors Davis Thurber and Seth Burgess will whip you into shape with conditioning and rhythm exercises that will tighten up your lindy hop skills. Followers can sign up for half-price to be your props and your audience. (Followers need instructor or organizer permission registering - please contact Liz at dancewithliz@gmail.com for more information.) Pricing: $40 in advance, $20 students.
